Meet the Team
Aaron Guy - Founder & Lead Practioner
My journey into alternative education is deeply personal. Diagnosed with ADHD at 10, I know firsthand the challenges many young people face in traditional learning environments. That experience now fuels my dedication to creating educational spaces where every learner feels seen, supported, and able to thrive.
A former manager once described me as an “SEMH Whisperer”—a reflection of my ability to connect with highly dysregulated students and support them with care, consistency, and purpose.
Before founding Elevate-Ed, I worked as an SEN Instructor in residential care, where I helped lead the team to an Ofsted Outstanding rating, with my planning receiving direct commendation. That role solidified my belief in combining academic learning with physical, outdoor, and creative activities to boost engagement and wellbeing.
Over the years, I’ve gained extensive experience supporting learners with ASC, MLD, SEMH, and complex needs. These professional insights—and personal experiences—now drive Elevate-Ed’s mission to redefine inclusive education, helping students overcome barriers and realise their full potential.
